Effective August 4, 2008 - January 4, 2009, the Outrigger Reef on the Beach pool will be closed for pool deck resurfacing. Guest may use pools at both Outrigger Waikiki and Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk. During the Pool closure, a $100 dining voucher per room for a 4 night stay will be given at check in. The voucher may be used at Outrigger Reef's Ocean House, Outrigger Reef's Shorebird and Waikiki Beach Walk's Giovanni Pastrami, and Roy's Waikiki.
Upon check-in, guests will receive a shopping and dining discounts booklet with tons of savings on meals and shopping! Upon stepping into the lobby guests are greeted by a dramatic 36 foot mural of Pacific voyaging canoes by internationally noted historian and artist Herb Kawainui Kane. A variety of Hawaiian activities are scheduled everyday as well as various programs throughout the year including the Hawaiian Vow Renewal Ceremony, Keiki Hula, Friends of Hokulea & Hawaiiloa, Kawehewehe Aloha, Hawaiian Steel Guitar and Hawaiian Quilts. Phase 1 of a $100 Million Dollar Renovation is now complete! All guests receive NEW rooms! Lobby, Front Desk/Entrance, Restaurant and various shops are have also completed renovation! The hotel will work to minimize any inconvenience to guests.
